The Art Krannie

Where the creative spirit runs free

Art Krannie is a mixed media art studio, archive, and learning space offering original artwork, curated studio materials, and future classes rooted in surface design, stitch, and layered textile practice.

5x7 textile artwork featuring a purple silk cocoon with strands of pearl beads hanging from it, set on layered painted fabric. Three lace-like embroidered leaves in red, purple, and green thread accent the composition. The background is a batik fabric altered with gesso and paint, stitched vertically with a subtle ribbon detail beneath the central leaf.

The Art Krannie is where experimentation becomes art. Every stitch, bead, and brushstroke begins as curiosity—an exploration of color, texture, and chance. It’s a place for creative play and discovery, where materials guide the process and imagination runs the show. Here, the creative spirit truly runs free.

Art Krannie grew out of a lifelong love of fiber, texture, and transformation. Each piece starts as an experiment—painted, stitched, or layered by instinct rather than plan. Sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, the work celebrates imperfection, process, and the quiet joy of making by hand.

Every piece begins as a question—and finds its answer in thread, texture, and time.
