The Legal Stuff

This website is owned and operated by Shirley A. Thomas. This site focuses on art education, creative exploration, and the sale of my mixed media artwork. You’ll find information about classes, workshops, and artwork for sale—everything from older pieces to teaching samples and experimental works.

Are the art pieces for sale? Yes. All artwork and class-related materials listed on this website can be purchased unless noted otherwise. Some pieces may also be available through third parties (like art galleries or art stores). In those cases, you’ll need to contact them directly to purchase. Prices are consistent across all platforms.

Purchases, Shipping, and Refunds

All sales are final. Once you buy a piece of artwork, class sample, or digital material—it’s yours.

All items offered on this site are the personal property of the artist and are available in limited quantities. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. Once sold, items are no longer available and will not be restocked, recreated, or reproduced.

Shipping:
Shipping is free for purchases over $75 USD. Orders under $75 USD have a tiered shipping fee, please see our shipping page for current rates Unless you request a different carrier, I ship USPS with insurance. You’ll receive a tracking number when your order ships.

If your package is lost or damaged during shipping, contact me at theartkrannie@gmail.com Together we’ll handle the claim with the carrier. Neither of us should be stuck paying for delivery mishaps.

Changed your mind?
If you purchased something by accident or had second thoughts before shipping, email me. I understand buyer’s remorse—been there myself. My payment processor charges non-refundable fees, so if you cancel, your refund will reflect those fees.

Video Lessons and Classes:
If you:

  • have trouble accessing a video lesson,
  • accidentally bought a duplicate, or
  • changed your mind before I send access details—

Private, Group, or Zoom Lessons:
If you need to cancel, please give at least 72 hours’ notice before your scheduled class. I’ll gladly reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t possible, you’ll receive a 75% refund. After the 72-hour mark, refunds aren’t available—but we can still reschedule.

Most issues can be resolved easily if you just reach out. I’m reasonable; you just have to communicate.

Your Information, Privacy, and COOKIES!!!!!

The information I collect is used only for communication and purchases. I collect your email address to send updates, class information, and order confirmations. Your name and address are used for shipping and billing, and your billing details are used only to process payments.

Who sees your information?
Just me—and the folks who process billing securely on my behalf.

As for cookies—unless they’re edible, I’m not interested. I don’t track, store, or care what you browse elsewhere. Crumbs are terrible for the keyboard.

Side Note: Cat Allergies

I make every effort to keep my artwork clean and free of stray fibers. However, I share my studio with a cat. That means a stray hair might sneak into a piece despite my best efforts.

If you have cat allergies, please be aware of the risk. I am not responsible for allergic reactions or related issues. Consider yourself officially warned—my cat is adorable, but he doesn’t sign legal disclaimers.
